North Brickville Fire Dept. started in 1932. With the uprising of fires, they got a 1932 Ahrens Fox pumper truck. 78 years later, they purchased a plot of ground, built a new fire station and only 5 days later.... it burned down. Right after, they built a command center on the same spot. We the North Brickville Fire Department cover parts of 4 townships and 87 square miles. Today North Brickville Fire is still volunteer and the 1932 Ahrens Fox pumper is now out of sevice.
